I just found that my bumblebee cannot find my nvidia driver. After an hour, I found out that it was the problem of power saving. I had installed TLP, which is a strong power management tool, about a year ago. A post suggested that TLP is so strong that it will disable nvidia graphics if the laptop is not plugged in. Problem solved.
